ISOI Student Chapter Launched at Vignan Institute of Technology and Science
The Instrument Society of India (ISOI) proudly inaugurated its new Student Chapter at the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Vignan Institute of Technology and Science (VITS) on June 5, 2025.
The event was graced by eminent dignitaries including Dr. A. Sarveswara Rao, Vice-Chairman of ISOI Hyderabad Chapter, and Dr. Muddamalla Naresh, Associate Professor, Department of ECE, Matrusri Engineering College. The program featured an inaugural address, a briefing on the chapterβs vision and planned activities, and the official launch of the VITS EIE Student Club logo.
This initiative aims to build a vibrant community of students passionate about instrumentation, offering them a platform for learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Through various technical events, workshops, and industry interaction, the ISOI Student Chapter at VITS will empower students to become future-ready engineers and innovators in the field.

Upcoming Workshop on βIntroduction to the Semiconductor Industryβ by ISOI-JSSATE in Collaboration with Infineon Technologies
The Instrument Society of India (ISOI) Student Chapter at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bengaluru, in collaboration with Infineon Technologies, will conduct a technical workshop titled βIntroduction to the Semiconductor Industryβ on May 5, 2025.
To be held under the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, this workshop will provide students with valuable insights into the rapidly growing semiconductor sectorβone of the most critical pillars of modern electronics and innovation. The session will feature expert speakers from Infineon, including:

We are excited to share that the Instrument Society of India (ISOI) Student Chapter at Heritage Institute of Technology – Kolkata recently organized an industrial visit for our students to Keventer Agro Ltd. This visit provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore the real-world applications of their academic knowledge, with hands-on experience and insights into industry practices.
Our students had the privilege of engaging directly with professionals from the industry, gaining valuable exposure to cutting-edge technologies and systems. The visit was a huge success, thanks to the warm hospitality and informative sessions provided by the company, which greatly contributed to the learning experience.
