About Us
In the vibrant tapestry of our society, the Society of Instrumentation Professionals stands as a cornerstone of knowledge and collaboration. Born in the year 1970, this organization took root with its headquarters nestled within the prestigious Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. Over the years, it has blossomed into a network of intellect, with six chapters spreading its wings across Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Pune, and Cochin.
Firstly, it aspires to be a forum, a melting pot where individuals from scientific institutions and industrial organizations converge to share their knowledge and experiences. It’s a collective heartbeat pulsating with the energy of those dedicated to advancing the field of instrumentation.
Secondly, this organization serves as a conduit of information, an exchange bureau disseminating technical knowledge through periodic and special publications. In doing so, it becomes the lighthouse guiding both technical and scientific minds in industries and research institutions, illuminating the requirements in the ever-evolving field of instrumentation.
Thirdly, the Society takes on the role of a matchmaker, fostering liaison between entrepreneurs grappling with technical challenges in their instrumentation endeavors and the experts ready to lend their wisdom as consultants. It’s a marriage of necessity and expertise, ensuring that the wheels of progress keep turning smoothly.
Lastly, the Society is a force of engagement, a driving engine propelling activities that contribute to the promotion of instrumentation. It’s a collective endeavor, a symphony where each note played by its members resonates in the grander composition of societal progress.
